Free Internet & Public Computers
Available from 7am - 8 pm, inside the library when we are open, and outside on the back patio and front entranceway when we’re closed. computers are available via four public computers. Our computers are filtered as required by law.

Printing, Copying & Scanning
Our printers are black and white. We print on 8.5x11paper. The cost of printing, scanning or photocopying is .25¢ per page. Payable by check or cash. Please email the file you want printed to the librarian.

Farnsworth Art Museum Passes
You can borrow a pass the same way you borrow a book. Stop by the library before your next trip to the mainland & visit the museum for free! Passes are generously paid for by Friends of the Vinalhaven Public Library.

Reserve the Reading Room
Individuals and groups may reserve the reading room during library hours. Please contact the librarian to discuss use of the reading room. Covid guidelines apply regardless of vaccination status.

Bendable Maine
Bendable Maine offers lifelong learning from the Maine State Library. Online and in person classes around the state are searchable on the site. Whether you are looking for career resources, crafting or something entirely different, Bendable Maine has something to offer. Free resources as well as those for a fee.

Coastal Maine Botanical Garden Passes
Free passes to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay available for May - October. Contact library to schedule day and time for your visit. Limit 2 adults (plus their children/granchildren under 18) for each day. Passes generously paid for by Friends of the Vinalhaven Public Library.

Boothbay Railway Village Museum
Free Passes to Boothbay Railway Village Museum.Boothbay Railway Village Museum is an outdoor history museum, a re-created Maine town of 1850 – 1950. The Village covers more than 30 acres and has more than two dozen historic and reconstructed buildings.
