Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Vinalhaven Public Library supports the library as a vital educational and cultural asset to the community by promoting public awareness and use of the library’s resources, and by funding materials, services, and programs not covered by the town budget.

Second Hand Prose

Second Hand Prose is a used bookstore run by Friends of the Vinalhaven Public Library. They sell gently used books of all genres, DVDs, audio books, current magazines, music CDs, jigsaw puzzles, and board games. All proceeds benefit the library.
